Our Philosophy
ABEC collaborates with clients, families, caregivers, and other service providers to support clients with a comprehensive approach based in the principles of behavior analysis. Our therapists specialize in naturalistic, developmental approaches that deliver meaningful social and communicative outcomes. We believe that therapy should be fun, creative, and unique to the individual.
About ABEC
Jennifer Tilley M.Ed., BCBA
Jennifer Tilley M.Ed., BCBA is a licensed Special Education teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has been working with children with autism and other special needs for over 18 years. Jennifer enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities. She enjoys teaching literacy and language acquisition, with a focus on natural environment teaching.
Jennifer founded ABEC with a vision to provide the highest quality of services with staff that are passionate about their work. In order to maintain the best therapists, Jennifer believes in providing mentoring and professional development, involving all team members in decision making, and supporting staff with work-life balance.
In Home Therapy
ABEC works closely with children and their families in their homes and communities to provide learning opportunities in the natural environment. Our goal is to help children engage with their families in meaningful ways. Home is a great place to learn functional communication, daily living skills, and play skills!
Community Based Therapy
Struggling taking your child into the community? We're here to help! We take a function based approach to change challenging behavior in the community. Parents and care givers are given realistic stragies and coaching to support their children in the real world.

Kristin Howard MS, BCBA
Kristin has extensive experience in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and developmental disabilities. She got her masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism from The Sage Colleges in 2015 and has been working with individuals with disabilities since 2012. She is skilled in crisis intervention, case management, staff management and training, client intervention and behavioral/educational assessments. Kristin enjoys living in sunny Colorado and loves to partake in all the outdoor activities it has to offer.

Hannah graduated with a bachelor's degree in Special Education and English as a Second Language from the University of Northern Colorado. She has a masters degree as an Intervention Specialist with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Northern Colorado. Hannah taught as a Special Education teacher prior to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2017.
Hannah enjoys hiking, camping, and reading. She loves her two dogs and cat. Hannah and her husband are Colorado natives and enjoy all of the natural beauty that Colorado has to offer.

Tylyn Barker, MA, BCBA
Tylyn is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a licensed special education teacher. Tylyn is passionate about supporting children and their families with treating severe challenging behavior and early intervention. Tylyn has worked in facility ABA schools and in home. She excels at training parents and other caregivers with implementing behavioral strategies at home.
When Tylyn is not working, she loves to hike, run, camp, and be outdoors. She is an avid reader and loves animals, especially her chickens, dogs and cats.
